Comprehensive monitoring plan for computer room
- Overview of the Plan
This scheme is designed according to the design standards of various national computer rooms, providing real-time monitoring, recording, and alarm of various guarantee signals for the normal operation of equipment in the computer room. The system adopts a distributed control system based on PC (configuration software), and each monitoring signal is centrally collected and managed through only one core processing device - AEM6000, striving to make the monitoring system structure simple, reliable, efficient, and low-cost.
The scheme design mainly monitors environmental temperature and humidity, smoke alarms, and water immersion alarms as the basic monitoring quantities for each area. In addition, diesel generators, intelligent distribution (cabinet) systems in computer rooms, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and other equipment need to monitor signals such as output, output voltage, and equipment operating temperature. The monitoring signals can be adjusted as needed.
The following is the system architecture diagram
The AEM6000 module is a very flexible multi point and multi type signal acquisition module. Due to the internal use of MAXIM's digital bus signal, multiple types and multi point signals can be simultaneously connected to a 3-core bus. Currently, the AEM6000 module is divided into two versions: 64 point and 128 point, each with 8 independent bus channels. Customers can combine and use it according to their on-site needs. Below are the supported quantities for a single module and a single type of signal.
Simultaneously supporting 32 point digital temperature and humidity signals
Simultaneously supporting 64 point digital temperature signals
Simultaneously supporting 64 channels of switch signals (dry contacts), requiring cooperation with AEM6904 switch acquisition node
Simultaneously supporting 64 relay control output signals, requiring coordination with AEM6905 relay control nodes
Simultaneously supporting 64 standard analog signals, requiring coordination with AEM6911 analog acquisition nodes
AEM6904 is an 8-channel digital bus switch acquisition module used in conjunction with the AEM6000 module. Each AEM6904 module has an independent programmable address, and multiple modules can be connected to the same channel of the AEM6000 module.
The module adopts 24V DC power supply and photoelectric isolation protection.
Connected with a three core cable (including power and ground),
Easy wiring and low cost.
The distance can reach 200 meters, and the wiring is convenient and simple,
This effectively reduces the possibility of on-site problems.
The AES651 solid-state liquid level sensor can provide a relay output. When the liquid level height (about 5mm from the surface where the sensor is placed) touches the sensor surface, the sensor will close the internal relay and connect the external alarm circuit
(Using wall mounted temperature and humidity probes)
